Lichdom: Battlemage Level Design: Drivasser Finale

LICHDOM: BATTLEMAGE

Here’s a sample of images illustrating just some of my work done on the title Lichdom: Battlemage. I was brought in to create new levels, as well as edit, restructure, and add to existing levels. As well as the basic restructuring and designing of levels, I was responsible for scripting, development and testing of new gameplay, and optimization and bug fixing, as the levels moved towards the final milestone.

DRIVASSER FINALE

For the final level in the game, analysis of the existing work led to the decision to chop and completely re-edit the entire level. This actually involved taking parts of two existing levels and merging them in a way that made sense. This involved a lot of complex terrain editing, the creation of new areas and connections that eventually made up nearly half the entire level.
